TFA Jazz on Spotlight Jazz

I must have Jazz on the brain...

IDW's TRANSFORMERS SPOTLIGHT: Jazz will be on shelves April 1st, 2009, and I figured I'd use TFA Jazz to pimp his IDW Counterpart's book. This is the image I came up. *Hit 'download' for a larger view.

'Spotlight Jazz' is written by your friends and mine, the esteemed Josh van Reyk and the magnificent Shaun Knowler. Transformers artist extraordinaire EJ Su provides the lines, and the gorgeous colors come by the way of Priscilla Tramontano. The talented Mr. Andrew Griffith also provides a cover for the book.

I used Andrew's cover to represent the copy TFA Jazz is reading, while EJ and Priscilla's cover can be seen on the monitor in the background.

Also, the background and the shadows / highlights on Jazz are based on / inspired by / ripped off of Lizkay's awesome artwork seen in TRANSFORMERS MOSAIC: "Multi-Tasking" (also written by Josh van Reyk.) [link]
