This is "Cosmow," an alter ego of REIGN OF STARSCREAM series co-writer of and all around great guy, Chris Mowry. My good friend Josh van Reyk came up with the Cosmow concept as a way to thank Chris for providing Josh with a ton of great advice and support. Josh wrote on his DA page of this piece, "This picture is for my very good friend Chris Mowry. I hope this goes some way to thanking him for everything he's done (does) for me, you're the best, man!!!"

And I have to echo Josh's sentiments. Chris has lent me a friendly ear on a few occasions as well. Chris is indeed a great friend, a great artist, and an awesome writer (ROS seriously kicks ass, check it out if you haven't done so already.) It was a privilege and an honor to provide the line work for "Cosmow." So, thanks Chris, and thank you Josh for the opportunity to draw this piece.

Man, this is just soooo cool.

I can't thank you guys enough.

And thanks for the nice compliments. I'm only this "nice" guy because you're all so fun to communicate with, bounce ideas off of, and generally just so damn enthusiastic about the property as a whole.

Believe me, with writing the "RoS" series, it's always been a toss-up of what's better.... the fact that I'm writing a comic book, or all of the truly great friends I've made in the process.

Thanks again!

:D Awesomesauce! Especially spinning the helm.

Thanks! I felt that the helmet was an important part of Cosmos's "look", but at the same time, Chris is always wearing his ball cap, so that's an important part of HIS look, so I couldn't put the Cosoms helmet on Chris head. So I came up with spinning the helmet as a way to keep it in the drawing. :)
